They have survived many months on the frosty land. They  have lived through harshest of arctic conditions and way more. They are a well known animal that live in the Arctic They  watch the birds fly across the sky sweeping through the cold brushed air. They watch their predator as they walk alone. With their warm

coated fur they can survive up to 33 years. Polar bears can drift about on gigantic pieces of ice. Polar bears can swim to survive swimming through water for many hours without any problem at all, for example if there was a danger or threat they could enter and be safe in the water, swimming great distances without any trouble. 

Physical Appearance 

 Polars bears appearance makes them look friendly at times .Polar bears fur is light in colour and therefore provides the fur camouflage that fights and reflects the glare of the ice. Polar bears  normally have longer necks and relatively small heads. They also have short round ears and a short tail. This is because, smaller ears have less surface area than larger ears and longer tails and therefore it helps maintain the body warmth. Polar bears normally and 2.2-2.5 meters in length. 

Diet

Polar bears are a well known animal for eating ringed seals, some types of walruses, beluga wales and beard seals. After polar bears eat a meal they can go up to 5 days without eating. Polar bears are a carnivore animal in the bear family. 

Polar bear Adaptations

  Structural 

Polar bears fur is light colour and there for it provides the fur to camouflage against the ice. Polar bears fur is also hollow there for it traps the air inside and assists buoyancy in the water. Polar bears have wooly, insulting layer of under hair which is covered by relatively thin layer of fur.

Physiological 

Polar bears have very thick fat and fur that keeps them warm in such cold weathers and also enables them to swim in cold waters. 

Behavioural            

Polars bears white fur helps them to blend in with the snow. Aggression occurs between males durning breeding seasons and males when males attempt to steal food but is caught by other polar bears. Polar bears dig dens to protect themselves from the cold wind. 

Facts 

Baby polar bears are about two feet (3m) long. Polar bears can smell prey from up to 16k away. 

After reading my post on polar bears, is there anything more you would like to know or have an interesting fact to share about these furry kind snow creatures?

 It all started with us finding out who our character is. Their nerves crept up like a whirling storm. 3. 2. 1. Hannah [ Bruce ]. And Eddie was Cameron。The two main characters. I was Ecstatic. My character was a boy with a beard also with a suit. I had 66 lines to learn off by heart and first I had no faith that l would remember all my lines but over time I got better. I started to have faith. I couldn’t have learnt my lines without my mum. She’s was always practicing with me. My mum was doing  all the other lines that weren’t mine. 

I also got allocated to be a convict and someone in the crowd in the cricket scene which was at the end of the production. The production was about Australia history. I am now going to explain all the scenes I was in. 

The second scene was the start of my lines. The 2nd scene was about the tea lady and Bruce and Eddie. Bruce and Eddie were commentators. Bruce was angry at the tea lady’s because they were wasting time. Bruce told them to get off because we were starting now. They finally got off. The next scene I was in was after the tea ladies got off. It was about the brides Eddie couldn’t not stop talking about how beautiful they were. I got really annoyed at him. The brides were representing the 6 states coming together. These were the brides ( South Australia, Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, Tasmania. )  Western Australia was late and the others were not happy with her tardiness. And then Queen Victoria came in. I kept interrupting the queen but I just wanted everyone to know  she was a special part to us in Australia. 

 

But Eddie had to be his normally annoying self and had to say  (what’s she giving away then). And he kept arguing with me and The Queen. 

Then came Captain Cook he thought we couldn’t speak English. He was a complete wast of Eddie and Bruce’s time. Then we ran away because he’s shoulder pointed a  gun at Eddie and Bruce.  

Then came convicts I was one of them singing a song about the first fleet. Acting sad and had nothing left but sadness. We did the dirty work by  making Australia into their 6 separate colonies. 

Then we both waited me and Cameron. Then we went on and saw another Bruce and Eddie. Which we were confused about.We looked back at the script and saw the mistake. But we kind and let them finish the show. And so they did. 

  We all couldn’t have done this without all the teachers. And especially Miss Quodling who made the play come alive. 

This was a great show. We all had put so much work and effort into this and it had payed of. 

Shout outs are Cristiano he was a governor he has put so many expressions and he really acted his character out. You could tell he was passionate about his character.
